About Calgow Equestrian
Calgow events are all about encouraging the novice rider and those more experienced but who may have young horses to feel that they have achieved something.
It seems that many juniors ride horses far younger than they use to. It is for this reason that we run our events juniors/seniors rather than horses/ponies. We feel it is unfair to expect quite novice riders to compete against far more experienced adults.

Due to this we do not put combinations into many of our classes so that there can be no issues over the striding. Nearly all of our jumping classes are split so that both juniors/seniors have a chance to go home with a prize. If the numbers in the class are just too small to warrant doing this then hopefully everyone will be placed anyway. |
We try our best to get it as good as we can but on occasions there may be things you are not happy with. If this is the case then please tell one of us so that we can try and put it right.

Calgow Equestrian is also open to suggestions for anything else you would like us to try and run. Without your support our events would be a waste of time.

Livery
Grazing only - £15.00 per Week
Stable & Grazing - £25.00 per Week
(Individual Tack Room Included)
Other Options
- Turn out, muck out, bring in daily for 1 week but you provide hay, feed and bedding - £30.00
- 1/2 and 1/2 - your horse is looked after for 1/2 the week and you look after it the other half - £20.00
- Full Livery for 1 day - £5.00
- Full Livery for a week - you provide hay, bedding and feeding - we put out, clean out and bring in - £50.00 (stable and grazing included)
- Holiday livery - by negotiation
- Put out or bring in - £1.00 but if your 5 days - £4.00
- Rug Changes - £0.50
- Muck out only - £3.50
- Hold for vet, farrier - £5.00 per Hour

Tack cleaning, grooming, exercising (Hack out, school, lunge) clipping, trimming and show preparation can be arranged
