Terms At Calgow Equestrian
Listed below are a few rules and suggestions to make all our shows run as smoothly as possible, please read these before arrival:

"Anne Checks The Arena "
Please park in allocated areas whenever possible.
Please follow all directions given either by signs or stewards.
Please be aware that everybody competes at their own risk.
In novice classes competitors will be allowed to continue after they have been eliminated as long as the judges feels they are safe to do so. In open classes this will be up to the judges. |
Misuse of whips will not be tolerated. Competitors will be asked to leave the arena if we feel this to be an issue.
Warm up areas are for competitors only. It would be much appreciated if competitors who have finished their classes do not use it as a schooling area thus preventing people in other classes having the space they need.
Please put all litter in bins provided and clean up after your horse/pony especially if it is tied up either in the stabling area or down in the bottom car park.

"Everyone is Welcome "
Do not leave horses/ponies unattended. We have had very near misses in the past when animals got tangled in ropes or caught up in hay nets.
Dogs are welcome but MUST be on leads at all times.
Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult.

Dress Code
Our events are designed to let everyone have a good time and hopefully improve as the season goes on. For safety reasons we must insist that everybody rides with a hat that is up to the current standards. We strongly recommend that body protectors are worn by all competitors under 16, these must also be up to standard. Nobody must be on a horse/pony without a hat. Light colored Jodhpurs, plain shirt with a tie and boots would also be nice. Jackets are optional.
